Phir Milenge / Till we meet again
I always found this concept really interesting, with slight exaggeration, it kind of reaffirms the human faith in hope, the hope of meeting again, the hope of catching up on things that were left behind, it could be the other way round too.
Concisely, its a promise of tomorrow's existence.

well, the idea of meeting again makes the good bye interesting, or else, why even go through the trouble of familiarizing yourself with someone??
